3D TV's - How Cool!

If you haven't watched the movie Avatar, stop reading this, go to the local movie theater, buy a ticket and watch the movie. After watching the movie you'll understand why 3D TV's are such a big deal.

Don't get me wrong, I've watched other 3D movies before, but never has a movie affected me like Avatar. After sitting through that movie, I decided to investigate the latest trend, 3D TV's.

According to PC world, Sony, among other TV manufactures are jumping on the 3D TV bandwagon. The only problem I have so far is that those funky little 3D glasses will become outrageously expensive.

I remember when TV Guide gave away 3D glasses for the price of the magazine. According to the PC World article, they expect 3D glasses to cost around $200! Can you spell G-R-E-E-D-Y?

Oh well, on the cool-o-meter scale, the 3D TV isn't quite rated yet since I haven't had the chance to watch one, but the movie Avatar, on the other hand…well, it's off the charts cool.
